Using advanced X-ray transmission (XRT), allsort® enables water-free dry processing of raw materials and recycling streams. The XRT sensor detects density differences within the particles, regardless of surface contamination. This allows reliable separation of material streams based on density and composition.

Sensor-based sorting increases resource recovery and reduces energy consumption in the processing workflow. Dry processing is carried out entirely without process water, eliminating wastewater and slurry. This significantly reduces both capital and operating costs compared to wet processing.
